Faces that hold up under lights and lenses
Camera and stage are unforgiving in different ways. High definition shows everything, stage lighting flattens everything, and continuity means a look has to be rebuilt exactly, take after take. Faye works across all three.
Skin that survives the close-up
HD cameras and studio lighting reveal texture that the naked eye never would. Faye builds skin in thin, deliberate layers and checks the work under the same lighting it will be filmed in, so nothing reads as heavy or flat once the cameras roll.
The same face, take after take
A film schedule can return to the same scene hours or days apart, and the makeup has to match exactly each time. Faye keeps detailed notes and reference photos for every look, so continuity holds across long shoot days and reshoots alike.
Built to read from the back row
Stage lighting washes out subtlety and distance softens detail, so a look has to be bolder and more defined than it would ever need to be up close. Faye designs for the lighting rig and the seating, not just the mirror backstage.
